My first year in graduate school will be ending in just as the first week of May comes to a close. I’m sure I’ll still be mentally exhausted, but with the end of self-isolation nowhere in sight, I’d like to just do some sewing (and hopefully some hiking!)
Zoe made this year’s Me Made May a choose-your-own-adventure, so I’m thinking about how I can mix it up. I might try to wear me-mades the first week, and then sew one thing each of the subsequent weeks. Maybe I’ll just aim for a muslin a week, so I can pack in some real sewing later. There’s also still a pretty good-sized pile of WIPs (such as the pink 1960s dress below…) and alterations on my to-sew list, although many of the WIPs are historical.
Are you participating? What sort of plan do you have?
