Today’s outfit report:
Me Made Items
1. Simplicity 2373 1960s-inspired pants (2011) – My original post about these didn’t have any information on sewing, them however, I do have a post  about them, so I am copying the notes here:

July 2011: “I believe I made a size 12, I’m a size 8 RTW and usually make a size 14.
I managed to make the muslin and this finished pair in one day, minus the zipper, because my arm was dying from all the pinning and I was late going to the movie theatre as it was!
Very easy to put together and the fit was good, except for one thing…they were insanely long-waisted! I know I’m short at 5’3″ and I usually do wear petite sized things, but never pants. I always wear Regular length pants. So I chopped 2 inches off the top of them, slapped on a waistband* and voila, they fit!
I used a crazy quilting cotton from Jo-Ann, for the most part it matches up front and back, but not on the sides. I did a hand-picked side zip.
These would make great work pants in a more traditional fabric, because they have that flattering and comfortable wide leg. *I used the waistband from BurdaStyle’s Ruby Shorts pattern, because I knew it would already fit me height-wise.”

1. Patagonia shorts
2. Kohl’s bra
3. Target undies
4. United By Blue organic cotton T-shirt (2015)*
5. Loft tencel peasant top
6. Feelgoods flip flops
7. Smartwool socks
8. Salomon trail runners

Day 24

Today’s outfit report:
Me Made Items
1. Simplicity 2415 (2010) – recently replaced the elastic. I don’t think I have the original post, so I will, like above, copy my notes from my old Burdastyle account post:

“Made from the same pattern as my Nantucket top, only with a modification. It is Simplicity 2415 (a So Easy! pattern), your basic ol’ peasant top. I did cut out the size 10 but used the size 14 elastic guide because people had complained of it being too poofy. I removed the blouseyness by making two full-length darts in the back. A great improvement in my opinion as it is much more flattering. Inspired by 60s fashions.”

1. Loft jeans
2. Target bra and undies
3. Target socks
4. Vans sneakers
